John Garrott is the founder and executive director of the RidgeLine, a network devoted to strategic team development and missional effectiveness. In the corporate world, he has provided counsel in team development and succession leadership with proven results. He has also been hired by churches to lead turn-around church growth efforts both connectionally and locally.

He has been adjunct faculty with the E.J. Ourso School of Business at LSU, is a certified human behavioral consultant with TTI Success Insights of Scottsdale, AZ, and is credentialed as a Stages of Growth Consultant. He also holds advanced certification in PTSD intervention, equine therapy and is a certified TIP trainer of wild mustangs with the Bureau of Land Management.

John has a B.A. from the University of Mississippi, an M.Div. from Emory University, and did doctoral work at Asbury Theological Seminary. He is an elder in the Methodist Church, and he and his wife, Jennifer, have two sons and live in Senatobia, MS, just south of Memphis.

Paul D. Borden, PhD

Paul Borden is Director of Kingdom Networks with Growing Healthy Churches. He has been published twice by Abingdon. With a Ph.D. from the University of Denver, he has served as a Church Growth Consultant for American Baptist Churches of the West; Director of

Church Consulting for the Evangelical Free Church of America; and, among other roles, acting CEO at Denver Seminary. He has both pastored and started churches, and also served as executive director of the American Baptist Church in California during their remarkable turnaround. Paul is the father of two innovative children and grandfather to four marvelous girls.

Rev. Tom Albin

Tom Albin serves as the Executive Director of the United Christian Ashram International while maintaining his current role as Dean of the Upper Room Ministries and International Relations at Discipleship Ministries of the Methodist Church. Serving as co-coordinator for prayer for the last 3 general conferences of the Methodist Church, he is in demand as preacher, teacher and workshop leader in the areas of spiritual formation, Wesley studies, historical theology, mission and evangelism. The United Christian Ashrams International has flourished under his leadership. Tom and his wife, Maryle, have three married daughters and seven grandchildren.

Sharon Fitzpatrick

Sharon Fitzpatrick, CEO of the Fitzpatrick Group, specializes in mentoring, career development and diversity management. She has 20 years in human resources, diversity and organization development and a history of work that promotes multicultural and organizational development in corporate, government and non-profit settings. With corporate experience in strategic planning, communications and diversity, her work also includes workforce development, community relations and change management. Her broad expertise and experience give her an understanding of the needs and challenges that organizations face today. She also does human resource consulting and recruiting for public and industry clients nationwide.

Dr. John Ed Mathison

Dr. John Ed Mathison served 36 years as senior minister of Frazer Memorial Methodist in Montgomery, AL. Under his leadership, Frazer grew from 400 members to over 8,800. In 1986 the Church Leadership Institute cited Frazer as the fastest growing church of any denomination in Alabama. The worship services of Frazer were televised nationwide reaching about 40 million homes. He holds degrees from Huntingdon College, Candler School of Theology, Princeton University, and the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Candler School of Theology. Author of many books and a nationally known and sought-after speaker, Mathison and his wife, Lynn, have three daughters, eight grandsons, and two granddaughters.

Sheri Smith

Sheri Smith is the founder and CEO of the Indigo Project and the Indigo Impact Initiative 501(c)3. Indigo, established in 2013, is a social enterprise with the vision of catalyzing a learner-centered education system that cultivates innovation, entrepreneurship, and empathy. An expert in assessment technology and a career entrepreneur, Sheri has spoken at various conferences, authored two books, conducts research, and authors papers. She graduated magna cum laude from American University with a B.A. in International Studies, and holds an M.A. from Georgetown University in Communication, Culture and Technology. Her company, Indigo Education, has impacted the lives of over one hundred thousand students.
